Now you want to start making your oblong shape so that it looks more like a football. Put a Football Air Blaster next to your wrapped bouncy ball and then wrap them together making a cylinder looking shape.

What would a football game be without a foam finger?! There is every color you could possibly want, so if you have a certain team you are rooting for you can choose that color ... or you can do what I did an grab the assorted Mini Foam Fingers. Wrap one of those around the other items and cover completely with your streamer paper.

Who doesn't love to fling something across the room? These Stretchy Flying Footballs are a hit at our house! Wrap this around and cover it completely with streamer paper, cut and glue to secure before going on to the next item.

Slap bracelets were all the rage when I was a kid, so I knew I had to include these Football Slap Bracelets in this surprise ball. There are three different designs, and all of them are awesome.

My boys love to wear lanyards with whistles, keys and badges...so these Football Lanyards are an absolute favorite. Wrap one around and completely cover it in paper.




Finally, I love adding some kind of bag at the end of these surprise balls. It makes forming them a lot easier, gives the kids something to put their treasures in and really gives them some volume! Place your surprise ball on top of the Large Football Tote, and then wrap the tote around the wrapped items. Then wrap the whole thing in your streamer paper, shaping as you go. Put on as many layers as you need to cover the whole thing, and to get the shape you want.

Wrap a folded piece of white paper around the end of one side of the ball, like the band on a football would be, and glue in place. The other side will hold the printable in place, so wait on that side.

Cut small skinny pieces of white streamer paper, one long piece to go down the middle and three smaller ones for the laces. Glue in place.



Cut out your printable tag, punch a hole in it and cut a small piece of brown Bakers Twine. Put the bakers twine through the hole in the tag, and attach to the football by tying the twine to one of the white bands. Wrap the final white band around the football and glue to secure.
