Dab a small amount of Matte Mod Podge onto a foam brush. Press the foam brush onto random spots on a corked glass bottle. Let the Mod Podge dry for a minute.
Press a sheet of gold leaf around the bottle so that it covers the whole thing, keeping the white tissue that comes with it over the top. The gold leaf will stick to the spots where the Mod Podge is on the glass. Press onto the gold leaf to make sure that it's completely adhered, then gently lift up.
Use a second dry foam brush and brush gently over the bottle to remove any excess gold leaf. Let dry.
