Spray paint 18″ wire wreath frames with gold metallic foil spray paint.

Attach two or more wreaths together with two jump rings or with some wire. Don’t worry about the color of the jump rings, the ribbon we are gluing on in the next step will hide it.

Glue the 1.5″ strip of ribbon down the middle of all of the wreath frames, so it’s one long piece. Next, glue the 5/8″ ribbon on either side of the wide ribbon, wrapping the ends of the ribbon around the back of each wreath frame.

Use hot glue and floral tape to adhere the floral bundles onto the top and bottom of the wire frames. I found it easiest to create a bundle of flowers, arrange them, wrap the ends together with floral tape and then glue on the bundle. You can also use floral wire to secure them to the wire wreath frames.

Use a paper trimmer to cut strips of black cardstock that measures 1″ x 3.5″ for the name cards and 3″ x 5″ for the table number cards.

This is the secret to making plain ol’ black cardstock look like chalkboard, scribble some white chalk all over the cardstock and then wipe it off. It’s that simple. So scribble away on all of the cut out cardstock pieces.

Use white calligraphy ink and a calligraphy pen to hand letter the guest names and table numbers onto the cardstock.

Use mini wood clothespins to clip the guests names and table numbers onto the ribbons.

At the end of all the wedding festivities, be sure to keep this handmade decor for your first home together. Just think of how cute your wedding pictures will look clipped to the ribbons!!!!
