Cut the flowers from the rose garland and the light pink flower garland using a strong pair of scissors or wire cutters.

Use the wire cutters to trim part of the stem from the faux succulent picks, leaving about one inch remaining.

Start making the topiary by pushing the succulent stems into the foam cone. I added three succulents in different positions around the cone.

Add the pink roses with a dab of hot glue on the back. Be careful to not make the topiary so full that it won't fit into the large copper lantern. Check occasionally to make sure it fits.

Fill in the rest of the topiary with smaller flowers and green moss, adhering them with hot glue. Repeat until the cone is covered.

You can repeat the process to make a topiary for the smaller copper lantern. Just use a knife to cut several inches off the bottom of a medium foam cone so it fits. Use smaller flowers and moss to cover the topiary for the small lantern. Display both lanterns together for a pretty spring vignette! You could even weave a small stand of battery operated LED lights around the flowers if you like.
