Start by painting a canvas in your favorite color and allow it to fully dry. We painted ours a light blue color using a Watercolor Paint Tray.

Now that the canvas is fully dry, add Crayola® Washable Tempera Magenta Paint to one hand using a Chubby Paintbrush.

Carefully press the hand onto the canvas leaving the imprint that will be the base of the flamingo. Add a touch of Magenta Paint curving up into the neck and head of the flamingo and allow it to dry fully.

Add a bit of Elmer’s® Washable School Glue to the “feather” area of the flamingo. Top the glue off with Iridescent Glitter so the feathers will sparkle. Shake off any excess glitter from the canvas. Allow the glue and glitter to dry in place.

Add a Black Googly Eye, beak and some adorable legs to the flamingo using Sharpie® Fine Point Markers.

For the pineapple hand craft, start by painting the palm with Crayola® Washable Tempera Yellow Paintand the fingers with Crayola® Washable Green Tempera Paint to create the base for the pineapple. Allow the paint to completely dry before moving on.

Next, add a criss-cross pineapple pattern in Elmer’s® Washable School Glue.

Sprinkle on some Gold Glitter. Shake off excess glitter into the garbage. Allow the glue and glitter to dry in place.

Add a pair of Black Googly Eyes, a sweet little smile, arms and legs to your pineapple with a Sharpie® Fine Point Marker.

Have your tiny artist add their signature or the date to the bottom of the canvas.
