Fold a piece of felt in half. Starting at the fold, cut a thin triangle sliver to create a point at the bottom.
Unfold the felt and hot-glue a dowel across the top edge. (If you are making these with kids, you can also use Aleene's Tacky Glue.)
Print out the word that you would like display in your desired font. You can also download these free templates. Pin the paper to a piece of felt in a contrasting color.
Cut out the letters by cutting through the paper and felt.
