Use a hot glue gun to carefully glue the end of the 7mm rope cording to itself as shown. This will create the stem of the acorn. Be sure not to cut the rope off of the spool. This will ensure you have enough rope to finish your project and not have to deal with a random rope end in the middle of your favor. Glue the rope ‘stem’ to the bottom part of a plastic egg.
Continue gluing the rope around the bottom of the egg making sure not to glue past the split in the egg. Cut the rope diagonally so it doesn’t easily fray.
Tie a Glittered Thank You Tag to the acorn stem.
Open the egg and place your favor inside. We chose some yummy Chocolate Gold Foil Candies to go with the metallic theme.
