Make two emoji faces by applying the foam pieces to the center of the plate. You can do virtually any emoji face, I chose the smiling face and heart eyes face. For more ideas, see my Emoji Backdrop tutorial.
Since it doesn’t have to be a birthday to celebrate with an Emoji Party; take off “BIRTHDAY” from the sign. Just carefully remove the letters at the grommets. You will be left with two separate jointed words, HAPPY and DAY.
Using a hole punch, punch a hole in the plate and join it with the “H” using twine. Repeat with the other plate and connect it with the “Y” in DAY. I recommend using plastic plates for this project, they won’t tear easily.
Next, join the two words together with a large string of twine to make a space between the words.
And that’s it! A simple and easy Emoji Party Banner! Just hang it up with a tissue tassel and you’re ready to party!
