Take a selection of pumpkins and paint them using either orange or purple acrylic paint so kids can help you craft. You could also opt for spray paint instead. I used a mix of the DIY Decorative Pumpkin Set, DIY Ceramic Mini Pumpkins and Foam Orange Pumpkins to get a good variety of shapes and sizes. Once dry, use gold metallic paint or a paint pen to paint the pumpkin stalks.

Select the Halloween Rub-On Transfers you like and cut them out. Once you've cut out an individual transfer, remove its backing paper being careful not to touch the transfer itself.
These can be used as the only piece of decoration on smaller pumpkins or in conjunction with the Hocus Pocus quotes on the larger pumpkins.

Next, gently place the transfer onto the pumpkin and hold firmly in place. Rub the transfer onto the pumpkin using the stick provided. Lay the transfer on gradually (rather than all in one go) and gently pressed parts of the transfer into the grooves of the pumpkin. You may get some slippage or small pieces of transfer that leave gaps. I think this gives the pumpkins a vintage feel, but if you aren't a fan, use a sharpie of the same color to fill in the tiny gaps.

Using white alphabet stickers add Hocus Pocus quotes to the pumpkins. Download the free Hocus Pocus Quote Printable here and cut out each letter or use a vinyl cutting machine to cut out the letters in the font Endless Sorrow. Use Mod Podge to decoupage the letters onto the pumpkin if you cut them out from the free printable.

Once you have finished your pumpkins place them on your mantel in smaller groups. You could also place the pumpkins down the center of your table to create a centerpiece or decorate a front porch with them!
