Prepare your Angel Food Cake mix. Add 1 1/4 cups of water to the cake mix in a large bowl and whisk it for two minutes until frothy and well combined.

Pour some of the mix into a rectangle pan. Only fill the pan half full. Bake on 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove cake from the oven and let cool completely.

When cooled, use an empty Treat Pop Container and push down into the cake firmly and twist a few times to cut circle cake pieces. Sit the pieces to the side. You will need three pieces for each push cake.

Place the white whipped icing into an icing bag with tip. Now it’s time to layer the push cakes. Place one piece of the angel food cake into the Treat Pop Container and follow with a large squeeze of icing. Place another piece of the cake on top and push down a little bit. Follow with another squeeze of icing and another piece of cake. Top the last piece of cake with icing.

That’s it! They are now ready to eat. For a fun Easter twist, let’s decorate the Treat Pop Container to look like bunny faces and bunny tails. If you decide to do this, you can do it while the cake is baking in the oven before you fill them with the cake and icing.

To make the Bunny Tail Push Cakes, attach a White Pom-Pom to the bottom of the Treat Pop Container with hot glue and press until dry. These are now ready to fill with the cake and icing. Be sure to have plenty of Pink Polka Dot Napkins on hand.

To make the Bunny Face Push Cakes, cut the sticks off of the Bunny Ears Picks and place hot glue along the bottom edge of the ear picks and attach them upright to the lids of the Treat Pop Container and hold in place until it’s dry. The lids are awesome as you can place them on top of the push cakes to send them home with your guests!

Attach the pom-pom, then take a Pink Adhesive Jewel and stick it to the middle of the container for bunny’s nose. Finish the face and draw the bunny’s eyes, mouth and whiskers on the container with a Black Sharpie® Fine Point Marker. Display your Bunny Tail and Bunny Face Push Cakes in the Display Stand that comes with the Treat Pop Containers (hold 24 push cakes). Pour some Pink Jelly Beans on the top of the display stand for a pop of color.

I hope you are inspired to try this as a treat for your family or even as a cute dessert option for your Easter Dinner. Happy Easter!
