Start with a light pink flower garland. Each garland is 6 feet long, so you may want to use more than one depending on how far you want your balloon garland to stretch. Inflate a 12" latex balloon with air almost all the way and tie it around the garland. Repeat with additional balloons, spacing them several inches apart. We chose to use pink, purple and yellow balloons.

Fold a piece of white cardstock in half and freehand cut a pair of ears from white cardstock. Crease the ears in half lengthwise. Create a tab on the bottom by folding back 1/4" of the base of the ear so the ears can be attached to a balloon. Add a bead of cool temp hot glue to the tab and stick the ear onto the top of a balloon. Repeat with the second ear.

Add a white pom-pom nose by adding a small dab of cool temp hot glue to the pom-pom.

Cut a white chenille stem into 2-inch long pieces and glue three of them together to form whiskers. Add the whiskers behind the nose with a small amount of glue.

One 6-foot garland is perfect for around 5 balloons. You can add a second garland to make it longer if you like. Hang the garland inside or outdoors for a pretty party backdrop. The balloons will look good for a couple days before starting to lose air.
