Place 1.5” Foam Balls, Small Foam Balls, and DIY 3” Medium Foam Balls onto Bamboo Skewers. Use a flat-bristled paint brush and acrylic paint to paint the foam balls. Allow time for the paint to dry. Putting the foam balls onto the bamboo skewers allows you to paint the entire foam ball all at once. Place the bamboo skewer in vase or drinking glass while the paint dries to keep the paint, and your table, free of smudges.

Matching the paint colors to your yarn ensures that the white foam ball will not show through the yarn. Use hot glue to adhere the tip of the matching yarn to a foam ball. We used Primary Yarn, Neon Yarn as well as a few other colors we had laying around. Wrap the painted balls with yarn and hot glue the end of the yarn to secure in place.

Hot glue the yarn balls onto a Large Craft Ring starting with the largest balls first. Space the large balls around the craft ring and fill in the areas with the smaller yarn balls.

Embellish the wreath by hot gluing wood buttons onto the wreath.

Insert two Bamboo Skewers into one of the large yarn balls and cut down to the size you want. Hot glue Round Unfinished Wood Beads onto the ends of the skewers to make ‘knitting needles’.

Change the colors to create the perfect gift for the knitting and crocheting fan in your life. Great for year after year use!
