The paint will become very runny once the grout is mixed in and will look as if you’ve added water. Be careful not to spill as this can cause a huge mess!

Using a paintbrush apply your DIY chalkboard paint to the surface of a wood coaster. You can use any size brush, but avoid a sponge brush as it will soak up all the paint. Leave a bit of space around the rim so you can still see the wood.
