Apply fabric paint to the butterfly wood block.
There are 2 ways of doing this. Either use a paintbrush to apply the paint evenly across the design. Or alternatively, squeeze the Fabric Paint Pen directly onto the wood block and spread using the nozzle of the tube.
Tip: If you are using more than one color, rinse off the stamp in between colors. Do not rub the stamp to harshly as this can rub the pad off the wood.

Take the paint covered woodblock stamp and carefully place into position on a clean and pressed White Polyester Linen Napkin. Press firmly and evenly down onto the napkin.
Gently remove the stamp, lift it directly up without any sideways movements to prevent smudges.

Take another fabric paint color. Using the pen gently squeeze small dots around the edge of the butterfly wings. You can apply additional colors to other points on the wings to create your own unique look.

Once the napkins are dry, use Black Bakers Twine to tie a specimen tag onto the folded napkin. These specimen tags were created by Kim of Small Moments and are available as a free download.

Once the twine is tied in the center of the napkin, the napkin itself looks like a butterfly. Aren't they fun? Your guests are sure to love the bright colors and unique look of each napkin.
