Tape off sections of wood squares using washi tape. Paint some of the square sections solid colors (white, black and gold).
Allow paint to dry for 15 - 20 minutes and remove tape carefully.
Cut bakers twine and tie onto the 12-inch dowel rod. I tied 5 pieces of twine from rod.
Cut to:
- 18 inches
- 20 inches
- 22 inches
- 20 inches
- 18 inches
Using a hot glue gun, glue the wood square pieces to the twine in random order. The glue will dry very quickly.
Tie a piece of leather cording on each end of the dowel rod to hand from wall.
