Lay out your supplies, and use paper under the wood plaque for painting. Paint your wooden sign leaving a small space on the edge between the paint and the bark. I chose to use a blue/gray chalk paint color. You can use any color that coordinates with your rustic wedding or wedding shower. You can also use a black chalkboard paint.

Cut out the letters, numbers, and shapes you need. Lay them out on the wooden sign to figure out your spacing.

Peel your letters, numbers, and shapes off one at a time and rub them on the sign until all air bubbles are gone. I start with the middle letter so I can be sure to keep my words centered.

Your DIY Rustic Wedding Bride Sign is now ready to hang or wrap up as a gift!
