First, using removable Command® hooks, hang the DIY Streamer Fencing Backdrop Decoration. Hang either from the wall or, as I did, inside the opening of your mantel or fireplace. I used 4 Command hooks; one at each corner.

Choose an assortment of plastic tablecloths. Begin by cutting through them (while still folded) into 1-2" wide strips. I used Light Blue, Light Pink, Mint Green and White. You'll want to roll these out into long strips and cut them into strips approximately 6' long in each color you use. Strips can always be cut to a shorter size once attached to the streamer backdrop.

Next, starting a few rows up from the bottom of the fencing pane, fold one of the strips of table cloth in half and thread the folded end through one of the holes to create a loop. Pull the ends of the table cloth through the loop to make a cow hitch knot (as shown). Alternate colors as you knot more strips to fill the bottom of your panel. Start a second row (about 2-3 rows up in the panel) and repeat knotting the strips in alternating colors. Continue adding rows until you are 3 rows from the top of the panel.

Next, above the colored rows, start folding the white strips of table cloth in half and threading them through the holes to create a loop. Pull the ends of the white table cloth through the loop to make a cow hitch knot like in Step 3. Knot strips to fill the entire row in the panel, then start a second row directly above this one and repeat knotting the strips across the entire row.

Next, cut large rectangle pieces of Iridescent Metallic Wrapping Paper in various sizes. Roll each piece of paper into itself to create cone shaped icicles and crinkle for texture. Twist the paper to create tighter cone icicle shapes. Secure in place with small strips of gift tape. Repeat to create different sized icicles.

Insert the top ends of each icicle through the top row of the DIY Streamer Fencing Backdrop Decoration.

Cut longer strips of Iridescent Metallic Wrapping Paper and thread these across the top of the fencing backdrop to create a chunk of ice across the top.

Next, use fishing wire to hang Iridescent Snowflake Cutouts from the top of the backdrop.

Finally, add a Winter Animals Stand-Up to each side of the backdrop! Be sure to check out my Winter Animals Kids' Party for more ideas and inspiration.
