Start creating your DIY Watermelon Drink Tray by gathering up the following acrylic paint colors; red, white and green.

Mix the red and white acrylic paints together until you achieve the desired color for the center of your watermelon. We opted for a medium pink color, but you can go lighter or darker if you prefer!

Using a foam paint brush, apply an even coat of the pink paint in the center of the circular tray in a circular shape. Allow the paint to completely dry before moving on to the next step.

Now, mix the green and white paint together to form a light green hue to represent the inside of the water melon rind.

Apply a thin line of the light green paint to the outside of the pink circle using a narrow and fine tipped paintbrush. Allow the paint to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Mix the green and white paint yet again to mix up a slightly darker shade of green to serve as the watermelon rind.

Use the green acrylic paint to add the watermelons classic striped pattern overlapping the previous green color and allow the paint to dry.

While the paint is drying, pull out your wooden bangle to prep it to become the tray's handle!

Using a saw, slice directly through the center of the bangle to create 2 equal semicircles. Sand if needed.

Add a thin strip of pastel pink washi tape down the center of each half of the bangle bracelet handle.

Secure your handles in place with a small nail on each side.

Add a few watermelon seeds using a black sharpie marker to the center of your tray starting at the innermost area of the tray and working your way out.

Fold an ombre thank you card in half and label your drinks. Add a chic faux leather tassel and a watermelon charm with a bead of hot glue and secure your tag to the tray using a bit of baker's twine.

Your DIY tray is now complete and ready to party!

Prep your drinks and serve up some fun!
