Before I got started, I pulled out tapes and paints that would stick with my Spring color theme. Using only those select washi tapes and start to wrap your wooden bangle at various spots around the bracelet.

Next up is adding paint details. You can use the washi tape to help keep your lines crisp and straight. Apply two lines of tape on each end of the desired paint area. Be sure to push those edges down well. Then paint away with your paint brushes! Before the paint has dried, remove the tape for a clean line.
In some sections of the bangle, I added stripes in a contrasting paint colors, too.
