


Download the Free Grateful Banner Printable here and print on white cardstock. Use scissors to cut out each banner piece.

Use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top corners of each banner piece.



String baker's twine through the holes of each banner piece and hang up the assembled grateful banner. Use fall washi tape to secure each side of the banner to the wall. Be sure to leave space to create the washi tape tree below the banner.



Use fall washi tape to create the trunk and tree branches on the wall below the grateful banner.



To create the leaves for the tree, download the Free Leaf Printable Template here and print onto cardstock in the colors of your choice. Use scissors to cut out the leaves.



Once the leaves are cut out, place them in a small bowl near the thankful tree.



Throughout the month, use a Sharpie® marker to write what you are grateful for. Younger kids can use markers to draw pictures of what they are grateful for. Attach the leaves to the tree with washi tape.

Watch your gratitude grow as you add leaves to your beautiful tree and write down the big and small reasons you are thankful!
