Start out by using the Pink and White Striped Plastic Tablecloth Roll as a backdrop. Simply secure it to the wall with a bit of tape and trim it to the length you need. Add the “sweet shop” lettering with a bit of double stick tape and voila! Instant backdrop in minutes.
To bring in a pop of the mint color, incorporate Mint Green Tassel Garland and Mint Tissue Paper Balls for a fun look.
Layer your sweet shop stand with the Mint Green Plastic Tablecloth Roll and a pink table runner to add even more color. This is such a simple and inexpensive way to dress up a table, and the layering makes it look more expensive than it actually is.
Start by filling Chalkboard Candy Jars with Pearl White Hard Candy Hearts. To carry over the theme of the conversation hearts that inspired the full Sweet Shop Valentine’s Day Party, add Valentine Conversation Self Adhesive Foam Heart Stickers to the front of each jar. For some dimension and even more color, we placed our jars on top of a mint colored crate. This stood out nicely in front of our striped backdrop.
Place 2 Glass Cylinder Jars next to your Chalkboard Candy Jars. Fill with Pink Rock Candy Lollipops on each side.
Fill two cookie style candy jars with green buttermints and place them on top of 2 white crates. We found these at our local craft store and painted them to match our decor. A Hot Pink Candy Scoop was placed in each cookie jar for the kids to help themselves to some of the candies.
Place conversation hearts in Mini Mason Favor Jars so the kids can grab a serving and snack on them at our sweet shop party table. Display Mint Green Striped Paper Straws in a vintage straw dispenser with a Valentine Conversation Self Adhesive Foam Heart Sticker.
To continue with the conversation heart themed sweets, we also displayed our Strawberry Conversation Heart Cocoa Recipe in a glass carafe decorated with another Valentine Conversation Self Adhesive Foam Heart Sticker.
Pink Jelly Beans Candy topped with Pearl White Hard Candy Hearts were displayed in vintage milkshake glasses and adorned with a Pink Swirl Lollipop and a Pink Polka Dot Paper Straw detail.
Lastly, we made sure to include Mini Mint Green Treat Boxes with Valentine Conversation Self Adhesive Foam Heart Stickers for our guests to bring home any extra sweets that they wanted to save for later!
