Cut cardstock to 6.5 x 4″ piece and roll into a tube shape. Tape closed with washi tape. To get a perfectly round shape, I wrapped the cardstock around my rolling pin, taped it closed, then slid off. If your rolling pin is large this may not work, but I found it to make rolling the tube a lot easier.

Tie one end closed with ribbon. Leave the other end open for now.
Through the open end, fill the popper with candy, toys and confetti. Anything that can fit inside the tube will work! The heart bouncy ball, mini heart slinky, Valentine mini yo-yos, and stretchable flying hearts all fit easily inside the tube. Glitter is fun to add inside, but make a mess to clean up. Keep that in mind when deciding to use it or not.

Tie the other end closed with ribbon once you have completed filling the popper.
Wrap a piece of scrapbook paper around the tube. Then attach with tape.

Gift with instructions to pull from both ends to open. The tissue paper will tear when tugged and the treats can be poured out. Kids will love them so much they’ll want to open more than just one!
