Start by decorating your storage container! Trim 4 inches from a unicorn horn headband and adhere it using hot glue to the top of the container.
Next add a mix of purple, orange and white flowers around the base of the unicorn horn.
We added some homemade mint green and black flowers as well to tie into our color palette.
Next create adorable unicorn ears by trimming purple felt ears and adding a folded flower center.
Adhere the ears to the top of the can and allow to dry.
To create the kinetic sand you will need 5 colors of craft sand: purple, orange, green, white and black.
Mix 1 cup of colored sand with 2.5 tbsp of corn starch and one tbsp of glitter.
Add 1 tablespoon of water and one teaspoon of liquid dish soap to a bowl and mix well.
Add the wet mixture to the dry and mix together until you have a wet, soft sand texture.
Fill your unicorn storage containers by layering each sand color atop each other.
