Remove the paper insert from the mug and decorate however you like! We used Elmer’s painters markersas a fun alternative to crayons. They gave a nice vibrant color to the mugs. Because the markers are permanent, I made sure to have my daughters draw on top of place mats for a little added protection for our kitchen table! Also, make sure that the paper is right side up before drawing. The widest part of the paper coordinates with the top part of the mug.

If desired, add letter stickers to add a name or saying to your cup.

Insert the paper back into the mug and you’re done! The internal mug compartment is easy to remove for washing.

We wrapped up a couple mugs for dad in a gift bag decorated with a DIY accordion dad card. Don’t miss all the party details here!
