Begin by taking 4 twigs from the Bundle of Twigs and break or cut them down so they are all approximately 12″ long.

Take 2 Twigs and cross one over top of the other approximately 4 inches from the top making a small “X” shape.

Cut a piece of Natural Jute Cording and wrap it around the Twigs where they form the “X” and secure with a knot.

Place a large drop of Hot Glue on the bottom of each Twig and attach it to the front, center of the Large Wooden Centerpiece.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the second set of Twigs. Add 2 large drops of Hot Glue to the bottoms of the second set of Twigs and glue it to the back, center of the Large Wooden Centerpiece, so it is parallel to your first set of Twigs.

Take another Twig and cut it so it fits across the 2 “X” shapes. You’ve now finished the foundation for your tent!

Next, take a 14″ piece of Wide Natural Burlap and drape the center of it over the top Twig of the tent structure. Place a line of Hot Glue on the outer section of each tent structure Twig, starting at the knot of Natural Jute Cording, running down to the base of the Twig. Attach the edges of the Wide Natural Burlap.

Lastly, cut 3 pennants from the Orange Chevron & Polkadot Table Runner and Hot Glue them to a small piece of Natural Jute Cording. Attach the pennant banner so it drapes across the front of the tent.

We made the DIY Tent into our very own tabletop camp site by adding some Rubber Bugs, Chocolate Rock Candy, candy-filled Orange Lantern and a rubber ducky all ready to camp out!
