Start by gathering up 10 Candy Pink Round Dinner Plates, a Pink Rose Garland, scissors and hot glue. Using your scissors, freehand cut 5 large rose petals and 4 small rose petals out of the Candy Pink Round Dinner Plates. Save one dinner plate for a later step. Simply cut out any random shape! Now, using your scissors, trim the rose from the Pink Rose Garland and remove the firm center from the flower. Using a few dabs of hot glue, adhere the paper plate petals to the Candy Pink Round Dinner Plate you put aside. Then, adhere the rose petals from the Pink Rose Garland to the center of the paper plate rose and hang framed by a Gold Glitter Picture Frame Cutout above your candy cart!
We displayed all of our sweets on our candy buffet so the kids could easily grab what they wanted from one location and head back to their seats. We displayed our floral draped birthday cake, our Royal Rock Candy Cupcakes, and of course, plenty of candies!
To get the look we created for our candy jars. First, fill the Glass Jar Set and Chalkboard Candy Jar with your candies. We opted to include heart-shaped marshmallows, Pink Rock Candy Lollipops, Pink Jellybeans Candy, and Pearl White Hard Candy Hearts in our jars. After filling your jars, print out our Free Printable Food Labels and add them to the front of the candy containers with a bit of double stick tape.
To create the garland, start by laying the boxwood garland out flat. Next, fold it in half and twist the two sides together, creating one thick garland. Then, using hot glue and a few faux roses trimmed from the pink rose garland, adhere the flowers to the garland. We mixed in some fresh yellow roses to honor Belle’s classic yellow ball gown. Lastly, hang the garland across the front of your candy buffet for a gorgeous, royal look!
Lastly, don’t forget the details! We added our DIY Boxwood Topiaries, DIY tea pots that we painted gold (don’t forget to add more flowers!), a crown centerpiece and darling tea lights for an elegant touch!
