Start by hanging cloud paper on your backdrop wall and secure it in place with a bit of scotch tape.

Next trim two 20 inch by 8 inch pieces of brick paper and adhere them to the backdrop paper.

In the center of one of the bricks, add a yellow square paper dessert plate. Add a free hand question mark cut from foam sheets and draw small black circles with a Sharpie Marker in each corner of the paper plate.

Add a thin strip of brick paper vertically to create brick dividers.

Using white paper cut out cloud shapes, adding two elongated eyes with a Sharpie Marker.

Cut out a vine from lime green plates and place it above a brick heading into another cloud.

Trim a few characters from a Super Mario themed table cloth and adhere them to the backdrop with a glue stick.

Draw line eyes on star erasers and hot glue them throughout the backdrop.

Cut out several circles and thick lines from a metallic gold paper plate. Adhere the lines to the center of the circles to create coins and place them throughout the backdrop.

At the base of the backdrop cut out a variety of hill shapes from foam sheets in multiple colors to create the scenes from the Super Mario levels.

Using the same foam sheets cut out a mushroom shape, the top in red and the bottom in white. Don't forget to add the spots!
