
Use a flat-bristled paintbrush and acrylic paint to paint the sides of a Medium Basswood Canvas Square an olive green color. Paint the front edges a lovely pink color.



Using a craft knife, remove the DIY 3D Cactus from the paper mache flowerpot and cut down the cactus to fit inside the wood square.




Paint the paper mache cactus using a flat-bristled paintbrush and acrylic paint. Once the paint is dry, draw spikes onto the cactus with a white chalk marker. Adhere the cactus to the inside of the wood square using hot glue.



Use a black permanent marker to color the multicolored chipboard letter stickers one color. You will just need letters for the word ‘STUCK’. Adhere the letters to the inside of the wood square.

To transfer the template onto the Medium Basswood Canvas Square, rub the back of the template with a pencil.



Washi tape the words onto the wood square and trace the words with a pencil.

Remove the template to reveal the words on the wood.



Use acrylic paint and a gold chalk marker to color in the traced words.

Once the paint is dry, apply gold glitter glue over the word ‘YOU’ and allow time to dry.

Stick adhesive foam hearts onto the cactus to give the sign a final Valentine’s Day touch. Place the sign on your mantel or Valentine table for a punny way to show someone you care.
