Wrap your wreath form with the blue satin ribbon by adding a dab of hot glue to secure the end of the ribbon to the form. Continue to wrap the ribbon around the wreath, overlapping slightly as you go. Once you’ve covered the wreath, trim the ribbon and secure in place with another dab of hot glue.

Use scissors to cut the pinwheels off of their base, leaving at least 1/2″ of the stem that holds them together. You will use this to poke the pinwheel into the wreath form.

To insert the pinwheels into the wreath form you first need to make a puncture through the ribbon. I used a small pair of sharp scissors for this.

Insert the pinwheel through the small hole, cut into the ribbon and push down into the Styrofoam. Add a dab of hot glue where the pinwheel meets the wreath to secure it in place.

Continue working your way around the wreath form, adding a mix of pinwheels and stars as you go. I layered my stars towards the outside and inside of the wreath.

Finish the wreath with a patriotic bow and hang with a ribbon. I used red ric rac ribbon to hang the wreath. Display your wreath with pride!
