Begin by filling the mini soda glass half full with the sparkling powder blue chocolate candy.

For the next layer, add the white foil wrapped caramels on top of the blue candy. This is the “whipped cream” layer, so don’t worry if the edge of the candy wrappers are poking out or spilling over.

Cut one of the pink striped straws in half and place it in the candy.

Create a little spot for the red gumball to sit on top of the soda.

Now it’s time to personalize these place cards. Gather up your scrapbook paper and use the 2″ punch to create your first circle.

Use a 1″ punch to create the smaller circle. Glue this piece to the center of the black circle.

Use a hole punch to punch the final circle in the center of the circles. They should look like little records.

Trim checked patterned paper to fit on the white name cards and glue to the front. Glue the mini record to the top corner.

I used vinyl and my favorite craft tool to create the names for each place card, but you could also hand write the names or use stickers. Place the name cards on the table next to the fun soda cups. Mini desserts are so much fun and these little DIY Sock Hop Soda Cup Place Cards are no exception! Make sure you pop on over and check all the party details for our 50s themed Daddy + Daughter Sock Hop including a DIY Retro Record Cupcake Stand and a recipe for Coke Float Cupcakes.
