Cut a few red paper straws into 1" pieces. You will need 20 total 1" pieces.

Stick one toothpick into the center of a 3" smooth foam ball.

Place one of the paper straw pieces over the toothpick.

Push one mini styrofoam ball on top of the toothpick.

Place another toothpick into the end of the mini styrofoam ball, cover the toothpick with a red paper straw piece and then top it with a 2" smooth foam ball.

Cover the toothpick with a red paper straw piece and then top it with a mini styrofoam ball.

Continue Steps 1-6 for three more sections of the wreath. Be sure to make each section directly across from each other to create an X pattern.

Place a toothpick in the large foam ball right in the middle of each of the longer sections of the wreath and place a red straw piece over the toothpick and top with a medium foam ball. Then put a toothpick into the other end of the medium foam ball, top with the straw piece and top with a mini styrofoam ball.

Continue to do this for 3 more sections to complete the wreath. You can display this flat on a wall by placing a piece of Frog Tape on the middle foam ball and press it to the wall until it sticks. You can see it in action in my Kids' Gift Making Christmas Party. Make sure to check out the Christmas Wreath Donuts we made for the party and the Nordic Noel Themed Games and Activities we set up for the kids!
