Paint the outer 2-3” of a DIY Unfinished Wood Hexagon Plank Sign with white acrylic paint using a flat bristled paint brush.

Once the paint is dry, measure 1” from the outer edge of the sign and apply a line of thin washi tape around the sign, 1” from the edge in a hexagon shape. Use a craft knife to clean up the corners of the taped hexagon.

Making sure that the washi tape is secure, paint the entire sign red, covering the washi tape. Once the paint is dried, remove the washi tape, revealing the white paint underneath. To give the sign a bit of a worn feel, rub sandpaper over the painted sign.

Sort through the DIY Unfinished Wood Letters and find enough letters to spell out ‘SANTA’ and ‘HERE’. Paint the letters and two DIY Unfinished Wood Reindeer Cutouts. Once the paint is dry, use a glue gun to adhere the letters and reindeer to the wood sign making sure to leave a space in between to be able to write the word ‘STOP'.

Use a pencil to write the word ‘STOP’ and use a white paint marker to trace over it.

Hang the cute wooden sign in your home and wait for Santa to arrive. The kids will love this touch of Santa hanging in the house to remind them to be on their best behavior! Find a complete set of Christmas decor in my Christmas gallery wall.
