Cut 1″ strips of the white burlap. Then cut your strips into three equal parts (about 6″ strips). Start by tying knots on the outer ring of the 12-inch wreath frame. I only tied burlap onto the bottom half of the wreath frame (since the top half would be covered by the Santa hat). Once you finished the outside ring, start tying burlap knots onto the inner-most ring. After you fill up the outer and inner ring, fill-in burlap knots anywhere that seems sparse and where you can see the green wreath frame.

Cut the Santa bandanas into 1″ strips. Then cut the long strips into three equal parts (about 6″ strips). Start by tying the strips into knots around the outer ring of the 18-inch wreath frame. Next, tie bandana strips onto the inside ring of the wreath frame. Finally, fill-in any remaining gaps with bandana knots to make it look full and cover any exposed frame.

The final step is to slip on the Santa hat! You can easily attach the two wreath frames by hooking the frames onto each other. You might need to hot glue the Santa hat onto the wreath frame depending on how you are hanging it.
This DIY Santa Rag Tie Wreath is so festive and jolly! It makes everyone in my family smile every time we see it.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
