
Leaving the ribbon on the roll, unwind the ribbon so you have about 20 plus inches of ribbon tail. Use a Glue Dot® or glue gun to adhere the ribbon to your glass vase. I used a Large Cylinder Glass Vase (do not use open flame candles in this item), but you can use whatever vase you would like. It doesn’t even have to be round, it could even square, etc. Same thing with the ribbon, it can be any width or color. I used an Eggplant 1.5” Satin Ribbon for my project. Just make sure you give yourself enough of a tail to go around your vase a few times.

Wrap both of the sides of ribbon around the vase to meet in the middle. Wrap the ribbons around each other so that it creates a link type shape. Pull the ribbon tight and around to the back of the vase.



Repeat steps 2 and 3 on both the front and back of the vase. Once you have the vase covered how you like, cut the ribbon from the roll. Tuck the ribbon ends into the last row of ribbon and use hot glue or Glue Dots® to secure in place.

It is so easy to make a bunch of these ribbon wrapped wedding centerpieces for your wedding. Insert flowers or a floating candle. I accompanied my vase with a burlap, ribbon, and lace wrapped vase filled with beautiful flowers. To make this a more rustic centerpiece, I also included a Mini Galvanized Metal Pail and a Large Wood Slice. Plant a small succulent into the pail to add a bit of modern charm.
