Using the foam paintbrush, add a few coats of turquoise paint to your wooden kitchen utensils. Of course, feel free to change up the color of the paint to fit the color palette of your party! We painted a wooden spoon, a slotted spoon and a spatula that we found at our local market!

After your paint has dried, cut a piece of white, Cotton Rickrack Trim long enough to fit around the utensil handle where your paint ends. Hot glue each end to the back of the utensil. Repeat this step with the other wooden utensils.

Place your newly decorated utensils into one of the slots of the Red Gingham Tableware Caddy. Add in the whisk (we went with a red whisk to coordinate with our color palette), bottle of Coca Cola and the Black Modern Cat Eye Sunglasses.

These sunglasses were a hit with all the ladies at our Retro Bridal Shower! We love that the components of this DIY Caddy fit the feel of the shower and will be used and appreciated by the guests! Make sure to check out our Retro Bridal Shower, DIY Milkshake Place Card and Milkshake Cupcake Recipe for even more bridal shower inspiration!
