Gather 18 striped straws in each color. Leave 6 the original length. Cut 6 to 6-inches long. Cut 6 to 4-inches long. Do this for all 7 colors.
Line up all of your original length straws according to their place in the rainbow (it doesn’t matter if you start with red on the left so long as the correct colors are next to one another). Note the 10th, 20th, 31st, and 41st straws (I pull them slightly out of the line of straws). Glue the 10th and 31st straws across from each other. Glue the 20th and 41st straws across from each other.

Use the remaining straws to fill in the gaps. Make sure you place the straws according to how they were lined up.

Gather all of the 6-inch straws. Glue the 6-inch straws in between the original length straws.

Gather all of the 4-inch straws. Glue the 4-inch straws between the 6-inch straws.

Glue a can tab, paper clip or piece of ribbon on the back to act as the hanger.
Happy crafting!
