DIY Pumpkin Place Cards

Create a diagonal line across the pumpkin with masking tape. Use your finger to press down the tape and prevent any paint from seeping underneath.

Paint below the tape with acrylic craft paint and a foam brush.

If you want, you can add extra sparkle to the stems with gold leaf. Use a small brush to carefully apply gold leaf adhesive to pumpkin stems. Once the adhesive is tacky, cover the area with gold foil leaf sheets. Brush away any excess gold foil.

Add names above the painted area with gold letter stickers.

If you like, you can replace the original silver ribbon hangers that come with the pumpkins with faux leather cording (I used gold and turquoise). Repeat to make as many pumpkins you need for your guests. I painted pumpkins in my color palette of turquoise, burgundy, and orange.

Add a pumpkin place card to each place setting by wrapping its hanger around a cloth napkin.
