Stuff pink or blue confetti into a deflated balloon. Use a good amount of confettti so that there is a lot flying around after you pop the balloon! If you need to squish the confetti a bit to make it fit into the balloon, that is fine. Once your balloon is full of confetti, inflate it and tie the end.
Next, snip one tassel off the mint green tissue tassel garland. Using double-stick tape or tape loops, affix the bottom of the tassel to the sealed knot side of the balloon. The tassel should stand straight up like a pumpkin stem and cover the balloon knot.
Using a black permanent marker, carefully write “boy or girl?” on the balloon.
