Begin by cutting at least a 4’ length of twine. Wrap the Natural Jute Cording around the top of a Galvanized Square Bucket a couple of time. Use hot glue on the top corners to make sure that the jute stays in place while being wrapped. Then tie the jute in a knot to hold it in place but do not cut off the excess jute!!! You will need that for the next step.

Thread the jute tails through the holes in the chicken wire on the Large DIY Unfinished Wood Frame with Wire, also wrapping it around the bucket. Do this a few times and then tie it in a knot to secure in place.

Run a bead of hot glue along the inside of the wood frame and adhere a length of rope cording.

Remove the backing from an Unfinished Wood Scallop Frame and carefully remove the easel back and metal hinge. Paint the backing with acrylic paint and a flat bristle paint brush.

Once the paint is dry, it is time to give the wood backing a chalkboard look. Rub a piece of White Chalk along the entire printed backing. Use a damp cloth to wipe off the chalk and let it dry. Doing this will leave some of the chalk behind creating a used chalkboard look.

Now it is time to get your hand lettering on. I recommend penciling it on and then filling it in with an Acrylic Paint Marker. Just in case you mess up, trust me, it’ll save you in the long run.

Once the paint is dry, replace the backing in the frame and use a glue gun to adhere the frame to the large wood frame with wire.

Next cut small pieces of cardstock and write your thoughts and prayers onto the cardstock.

Use Mini Wood Clothespins to attach your prayers to the chicken wire frame. Store the extra clothespins, paper strips and a pen or two in the tin holder.

Hang the Prayer Board in a place that you will see everyday to remind you to pray for the things and people that matter most.
