Start by folding several lengths of paper streamers. Cut about 3/4 the way up to create fringe. Repeat with all three colors of streamers.

Before you start decorating the box, be sure to seal all the ends of the box with packing tape. If you plan on filling your piñata with treats, draw a circle on one end of the box. This will be the top of your piñata. With a craft knife, cut out the circle to make a hole for the candy. Next, punch two small holes about 2 inches apart and thread a small length of rope to create a loop for hanging. Tie it off with a knot.

Using the Ice Pop from the Patriotic Pop Luncheon Napkins as a guide when adding your fringe. Start with the bottom third of the cardboard box and add Ice Blue Jumbo Paper Streamer fringe using hot glue. Continue overlapping the fringe as you go around the box. Repeat for all three colors until the box is entirely covered.

Locate the top of the box and apply more red paper streamer fringe, covering the hole you made earlier.

To make the ice pop stick, cut two pieces of 6" x 12" cardboard. Fold a crease about 2 inches from the edge on both pieces to create a flap.

Apply hot glue and attach both pieces together making sure not to glue the flap together.

Next, apply glue to the flap and attach it to the bottom of the piñata.

Cover the bottom of the piñata with paper streamer fringe and fill it with your favorite Patriotic Toys and Parade Candy!

Hang the popsicle piñata behind your party table. Just add a Patriotic Pop Garland and USA Balloon Garland to complete your look!
