Make yarn and baker’s twine tassels. Cut a piece of cardboard to 4 x 4 inches. Wrap yarn around the cardboard 6 or 8 times. The more you wrap, the fuller the tassel.

Loop a piece of twine under the top loop of yarn and tie in a tight knot.

Cut the bottom ends of yarn on the cardboard.

Tie twine around the top section of tassel. Wrap around the knot multiple times and secure by knotting again.

Using an embroidery needle and twine, slide the needle through the pom pom’s centers. Continue to add poms, mini tassels, wood beads and more. To add the handmade yarn tassels, push the needle and twine through the bottom of a larger pom pom and pull twine through the top. Knot and trim the top string.
