Once the first half of your pom pom maker is full, close and begin the process on the other half. Once both sides are full of yarn bring the sides together to close the disk. Your completed disk should have four loose ends of yarn sticking out.

Hold the full pom pom maker firmly in one hand and cut down the middle of the yarn, working your way around the disk.

To finish off your pom pom take a piece of yarn and wrap it around the circumference of the circle. Tie a knot and pull tight! Pull apart both sides of your pom pom maker to reveal the completed pom pom. Fluff up your pom pom and use scissors to cut any pieces of yarn that are too long.

To create your flower girl basket simply attach the pom pom to a natural bamboo basket using a glue gun. Add a fair amount of glue so the pom pom are secure – you don’t want them falling off as your flower girl walks down the aisle!
