Using a drill, drill holes on either side of the shadow box edge. For the DIY Large Basswood Canvas Box, drill two holes on either side. One about 2 inches down and one about 2 inches from the bottom. This will allow space for hanging photos. For the DIY Medium Basswood Canvas Box, drill one hole about 1 1/2 inches from the top on both sides of the boxes edge.

Tie White Ribbon on one side leaving a knot on the outside so that the ribbon will not slide through the hole. Lace through the opposite hole, pull tight, and tie on the other side. Repeat this for all of the holes on your wooden shadow box.
