
Choose what kind of design you want to paint on the front of the wooden planter box and apply washi tape to tape the area off to be painted.

Brush on one coat of the acrylic craft paint and let dry. Apply a second coat of paint and let that coat dry. Remove washi tape.

Measure and cut two pieces of card stock, cardboard or balsa wood to fit as dividers inside the wooden box. If you want to be able to re-purpose the wooden box, opt for card stock or cardboard that you can tape in. If you are planning on making this a permanent caddy, cut balsa wood to size and glue along edges and let dry.
