Begin by removing the top of your ornament and set aside. Or, if you are using an ornament without a top, that instead splits in half, split the ornament in half and lay both sides flat.
Head to a well ventilated area and add a layer of crimson spray paint and allow to dry. Add 2-3 coats until the ornament is the perfect crimson color. Allow it to dry completely.

Next, if your ornament has the removable top, add a coat or two of gold metallic spray paint to it and allow to dry.

Now it’s time to add your personalized wedding details! We used the Sharpie Metallic Fine Point Permanent Marker and carefully wrote the name of our bride and groom and their wedding date.
We just love the way the gold marker looks against the deep, crimson paint! Allow the gold marker to set and dry.

Simply place the top of your ornament back in place and you have the most fabulous DIY Wedding Favor Ornament!

We placed ours on top of the wedding cake at our Crimson Christmas Wedding. We just love the pop of color it brings to the white cake and the touch of elegance next to the rustic pinecones and evergreen clippings.
Each of your guests’ will adore taking home this holiday wedding memento and incorporating it into their own festive decor!
