Hang two Command® Hooks across the wall where you would like the top of your streamers to be. Tie a piece of string on one hook and tie the end onto the other hook.
Place a streamer over the top of the string and make sure it's long enough on both sides to go to the bottom of your wall. Cut the ends. If you are inside the streamers will hang in place just fine over the string on their own since both sides will be hanging to the floor. If you're outside then you will need to add some clear tape to hold each streamer it in place, in case the wind blows. Repeat, switching colors, until the entire backdrop is as wide as you would like it. We used white, pink, yellow, blue, green, and gold streamers for our backdrop.
To make the words "Let's Make Some" on your backdrop, you will need to print the Free Printable Garland. Use scissors to cut out each piece, then use a piece of clear tape to attach each piece to some string. Hang the string from Command® Hooks.
Now to the letters that spell NOISE! Assemble each marquee light by following the directions on the package and adding AAA batteries. You will need the letters N, O, I, S, and E for this backdrop. Use a Command® Hook to hang each letter from the wall. Be sure to attach the hooks in between the streamers so that you can hide the hooks with a streamer on each side.
When it's time for the party, turn on the marquee lights so your backdrop will shine! This fun New Year's Eve backdrop can be used for a Pastel New Year's Eve Party or any other party you'd like!
