First, combine the base and the bowl of the gumball machine. To start creating this candy masterpiece, flip the Purple Candy Bucket with Ribbon Handle upside down and adhere the base of the Medium Round Glass Vase to the bottom of the bucket using a generous amount of hot glue. Make sure to cover as much surface area as possible. More glue on the base of the favor box means no gumball mess later, so don't be afraid to use too much glue! Allow the hot glue to fully dry.

Now that the Medium Round Glass Vase is adhered securely to the base of the Purple Candy Bucket, take the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Plastic Tumbler and place it inside of the vase in an upside down position. This will save you from having to use too much candy inside of your diy machine by taking up some of the excess space in the bowl. If you have an abundance of gumballs or simply would prefer to use only gumballs you can easily skip this step.

Next, start filling the diy gumball machine glass top with layers of gumballs surrounding the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Plastic Tumbler. Grab a handful of gumballs, first starting with Large Shimmer Bright Pink Gumballs and layer them around the bottom of the Medium Round Glass Vase. Once the pink layer is in, move on to the Orange and Yellow Gumballs and so on. Make sure your gumball colors are equally portioned.

Now, fill in the final layer of gumballs in the gumball machine. To do this, be sure to cover the base of the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Plastic Tumbler so that no portion of it is visible but be careful to not over flow the mouth of the Medium Round Glass Vase. The Large Shimmer Lavender Gumballs should be flush with the top of the glass portion of the gumball machine when you are completely done adding all of the gumballs to the machine.

We wanted to add a fun and playful detail to the front of the gumball machine, so we decided to add a cute heart decoration that we found in the My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Centerpiece Set to the base of the gumball machine to represent where the candy would typically come out. We chose a rainbow heart piece of confetti to accentuate the color pattern within the gumball machine itself. Use a dot or two of hot glue to secure the confetti piece into place.

Create a My Little Pony themed topper for your gumball machine by trimming a My Little Pony character image from the
My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Centerpiece Set and secure it to a Mint Striped Paper Straw using a dot of hot glue. Then simply place the topper into the candy.

Lastly, display your new gumball machine (or 2!) at your My Little Pony Birthday Party as part of a fun and unique DIY Rainbow Candy Centerpiece! We love the versatility of this creative DIY as colors and candies can be swapped out to match any theme!
