Prep the glass jar by washing the outside with warm water and soap. Completely dry. Wipe the outside of the jar with rubbing alcohol and let dry. This allows the paint to adhere to glass jar. Tape off the section of the jar you want to paint. Make sure the tape is firmly pressed. You can use washi tape or painter’s tape for this.

A foam pouncer brush works best when painting on glass. I recommend two coats. Pounce one coat and let dry. Add another coat of paint.

Prepare the space between the tape and the paint by “scoring” it with an x-acto knife. Then gently pull the tape from the jar. You can also apply a thin layer of clear varnish.

Now fill the jar with all of your favorite craft supplies!
