
Using acrylic paint and a flat bristled paintbrush to paint a Medium Embroidery Hoop.

Next, tape of half of a Round Table Mirror with washi tape and a piece of cardstock. Spray paint the mirror with metallic gold foil spray paint. Once the paint is dry, remove the tape and cardstock.



To attach the Natural Cording, fold a 3 foot length of cording in half and place it under the painted embroidery hoop. Gather the ends of the cording and pull them through the loop connecting them to the hoop. Repeat this step until the bottom third of the hoop is covered with cording. Trim the cording into a V-shape.

Use a strong craft glue like E6000® Craft Adhesive Glue to adhere the painted mirror to the embroidery hoop. Follow the manufacturers instructions on how long to let the glue dry before working with your project.

Once the glue is dry, combine a mixture of black acrylic paint and water in a 50:50 ratio into a paper cup. Dip the ends of the cording into the cup and allow the paint mixture to soak into the cording. Once you have achieved the desired effect, carefully ring out the excess water and allow time for the cording to dry.

To attach the pre-made tassel charms, use jewelry tools to connect the jump rings to the weave in the cording.

Adhere a faux leather cording hanger to the back using hot glue or E6000® Craft Adhesive Glue and allow time for the glue to dry before hanging.
