Start creating your DIY party plates by cutting out two 5 inch ears out of black card stock for every party plate you will need. We used our Cricut machine to cut our circles, but you can also hand cut, hole punch or trace!
To create Minnie Mouse's classic bow for each plate, cut an 8" strip of pink satin ribbon. Next, fold each end so that the meet in the center and pinch together. Lastly, cut another 1" strip of ribbon and loop it around the middle of the bow and hot glue it into place.
Layer a pink paper dinner plate with a black paper dessert plate. Then, using hot glue, adhere the Minnie Mouse ears to the back of the paper plate and allow it to dry fully.
Now that the ears are attached, secure a Minnie Mouse ribbon bow to the top of the plate using a dot of hot glue.
To add a fun accent to each plate ad a cute cupcake. You will need a pink laser cut cupcake wrapper. Then layer a black polka dot luncheon napkin under each party plate.
We created these adorable cupcakes by adding miniature Oreo ears and a fondant bow! We also added some sparkling sprinkles from our friends at Bakery Bling too! Dress your cupcakes up in pink laser cut cupcake wrappers.
Set up your adorable party plates at each place setting for a chic and girly look!
Enjoy your custom plates at your Minnie Mouse Birthday Party!
